The “Percy Jackson” panel at Comic-Con was an exciting event with the news of Daniel Diemer joining the cast as Tyson. Tyson’s character is such a beloved part of “Sea of Monsters,” and Diemer’s height and enthusiasm should really help him capture Tyson’s unique presence and charm.
Having Rick Riordan directly involved and giving his endorsement adds a lot of credibility and excitement. It’s also fantastic to hear that Diemer has been a fan of the books since he was young—that kind of personal connection often translates into a passionate and faithful portrayal.
The presence of the cast and creative team, including Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri,made for a lively and engaging panel. Jay Duplass moderating as Hades added a fun layer to the panel.
