Episode 3 starts with Mira being questioned about his efforts to defeat the magical girl. However, he assures his comrades that everything is going according to plan. The next day, Mira gives Byakuya a bouquet and a rose in return. Byakuya struggles to understand the lieutenant’s actions and wonders if he is not human.
Back at Byakuya’s house, her familiar tells her he will be selling a video of her battle with the slime monster. Later, Mira is dragged to a hostess bar by his colleagues, where he is shocked to see Mira working. Moreover, she bursts into tears upon seeing him.
He learns her familiar is selling lewd videos of her and goes to her house to kill it. They end up having dinner together before he leaves her. Meanwhile, Fomalhaut tells Mira he will assist him in the magical girl subjugation. The episode ends with Mira deciding whether to kill him.
