ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive track from the score of the upcoming coming-of-age period drama White Bird: A Wonder Story. The movie is set to release digitally on October 4, 2024.
When does the White Bird soundtrack release?
The new track comes from Thomas Newman, who did the orchestral score for the film. The track is titled “Aubervilliers-aux-Bois,” and can be found on the 33-track White Bird Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which is also out on October 4 alongside the movie.
The soundtrack to White Bird: A Wonder Story can be purchased now from a variety of storefronts, the full list of which can be found on Lakeshore Records’s website.

“Director Marc Forster and I wanted the music of White Bird to add content to the storytelling. The score suggests place and time–past lives and future lives–always remembering the youthful exuberance and the essential innocence, of Sara and Julien,” said Newman in a statement.” To put feeling in their hearts despite their circumstances, the music is fluid, often melancholy, and also muscular and focused.”
“In White Bird, we follow Julian (Bryce Gheisar), who has struggled to belong ever since he was expelled from his former school for his treatment of Auggie Pullman,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “To transform his life, Julian’s grandmother (Helen Mirren) finally reveals to Julian her own story of courage — during her youth in Nazi-occupied France, a boy shelters her from mortal danger. They find first love in a stunning, magical world of their own creation, while the boy’s mother (Gillian Anderson) risks everything to keep her safe.”
