Dr. Wendy Osefo revealed what was edited out of her “2 [hour] lunch” with Gizelle Bryant, and the Real Housewives of Potomac star also addressed the claim that she let Gizelle off “way too easy” as fans reacted.
In the past, Gizelle said shocking things about Wendy and her family, and the two castmates have feuded for several seasons. In fact, last season was so bad that Gizelle wouldn’t even let Wendy give her a hug. But things seemingly took a quick turn in the new season after the co-stars went to lunch – and apparently reconciled all their issues.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan challenged how Wendy handled her reconciliation lunch with Gizelle.
“I’m all for moving on/forgiving but we have to have some tough conversations and get to the root,” said fan account @TheBrookeAsh, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “Wendy let her off way too easy and didn’t bring up anything!!! This is crazy!!”
But Dr. Wendy objected.
“No baby, I brought up EVERYTHING!!” Wendy explained in the comments. “[Including Gizelle] saying I could not use her bathroom at the reasonably shady event; Saying it was okay for me to be assaulted because she does not like me.”
According to Wendy, she also confronted Gizelle for bringing up a “fake rumor about my husband” and for “talking badly about my mother; ETC.”
“It was a 2hr lunch!” she added, ending her post.
Fans then shared their reactions in the comments.
“Wow I would have loved to see the whole conversation. I hate when bravo edit out in favor of [Gizelle] then things don’t look authentic,” wrote one user.
“RHOP production keeps showing their favoritism towards [Gizelle],” echoed another. “They’re actually not smart because those parts left out are what many viewers wanted to see.”
Someone suggested that they show the “extended lunch” on Peacock.
“And that’s why I will not watch this show anymore. No one hold Gizelle accountable for anything,” said a third.
Another fan praised Wendy for confronting Gizelle about her past comments: “Good. Cuz ain’t NO WAY I’d let Gizelle slide with none of that [s**t] she did and said.”
