The 2025 Golden Globes are being handed out Sunday night.

Nikki Glaser is hosting the ceremony, at which awards in 27 categories will be handed out. Heading into the show, Emilia Pérez leads the nominees, with a total of 10 nominations, more than more than any other title in film or TV. That broke the record previously held by a comedy or musical motion picture, surpassing Barbie, which scored a total of nine noms last year. The Bear leads the TV nominees with five nominations. (See the red carpet arrivals.)

On Friday night, Viola Davis was presented with the the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson accepted the Carol Burnett Award at the Golden Globes’ inaugural Golden Gala. Those two awards have previously been presented during the live broadcast but this year were presented in a special ceremony attended by stars including Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep, Mary Steenburgen, Carol Burnett, Anthony Anderson and Babyface. Danson and Davis’ awards also will be recognized during Sunday’s telecast.

This marks the second Golden Globes ceremony since its longtime backer, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, was replaced following the acquisition of all the HFPA’s assets, rights and properties by Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge. Instead of the HFPA, a racially and ethnically diverse group of voters — made up of journalists representing countries from around the world — selects the nominees and winners. (Dick Clark Productions now owns and produces the Golden Globe Awards. DCP is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge that also owns The Hollywood Reporter.)

The 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards is set to air live from the Beverly Hilton on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Emmy-winning producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner are set to serve as showrunners for a second consecutive year.

The list of 2025 Golden Globes nominees below will be updated as the winners are announced live. Refresh for the latest.
