Gretchen Rossi is clapping back at Emily Simpson for claiming she was “scared” to talk to Tamra Judge amid filming on the upcoming 19th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
While also reacting to a fan’s suggestion that she’s had too much plastic surgery, Gretchen, 46, responded to an appearance Emily, 49, made earlier this week, during which she suggested that Gretchen was afraid of Tamra, 57, and didn’t want to speak to her during production.
“I’m not sure what show Emily was filming but I’m not afraid of anyone, once you see the show we will see who is afraid of who. She was there when Tamra went running away multiple times,” Gretchen wrote in a comment shared by All About TRH Podcast on Instagram.
As RHOC fans may have seen, Emily made the claims against Gretchen on E! News.
“Gretchen gets scared … don’t let her fool you. Gretchen can be very strong on the red carpet and very strong in interviews and very strong in podcasts but she … it took a while to get her to get to the point where she would have a conversation with Tamra,” she alleged. “I feel like I had to consistently facilitate that. And she was like, ‘Well, I don’t think I have to,’ and I’m like, ‘Girl, then why are you here?’”
In other Gretchen Rossi news, she was forced to defend herself against claims of plastic surgery after Bravo posted a video of her promoting the new season on its Instagram page on June 26.
“Of course people are going to talk about [RHOC]… Gretchen joins an all-new season in TWO WEEKS!” the network had captioned the post.
After Gretchen was seen ranking her past taglines, a fan wrote in a comment, “[Too] much surgery please [stop].”
But Gretchen replied, “Sorry never had any surgery.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 premieres on Thursday, July 10, at 9/8c on Bravo.
