She Talks Relationship With Parents, Being Spoiled, Their Divorce, Which Of Weezy’s Baby Mamas Are Her Favorite, Her Love Life, And More

For her 27th birthday, Reginae Carter sat in the hot seat on her podcast, ‘Heir Time,’ where she was interviewed by her parents Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, 43, and Antonia “Toya” Johnson-Rushing, 42.

In the beginning of the sit-down, Reginae’s parents asked her when did she realize she was the daughter of the iconic rapper Lil Wayne. She says once she saw how many shows he was doing and all of the people walking up to them at events, then did it become evident.

Later into the show, she also talked about often coming to his defense on social media against trolls. She admitted that because Wayne doesn’t do social media, at all, she felt the need to come to her dad’s rescue. However, she also admitted that has had to unlearn that habit. Instead, she listens to her parents and do as they say: “Let them be.”

Reginae Carter Talks Being A ‘Spoiled Brat’ And Growing Out Of It As She Turns 27

Reginae also talked more about her relationship with both of her parents. She called her rapper father the good cop and her TV personality and entrepreneur mother the bad one. Reginae also talked about her parents spoiling her, well, really Wayne.

However, she admitted she has also grown out of being a “spoiled brat” as she matures and nears 30. She gave a few examples of how she’s been a brat in the past. For instance, using her father’s fame for the heck of it, just dropping his name everywhere she went and using it as an excuse.

After continuing to talk about her “real father-daughter relationship,” Reginae also shared how his fame taught her some really hard life lessons about fame in general. She said she’s not only learned to let people be, but to be careful what she says, does, and posts online.

Reginae Carter Reveals Nivea And Lauren London Are Her Favorite Baby Mamas Of Father Lil Wayne

While speaking on family, divorce, and co-parenting, Reginae revealed how she handled her parents divorce and them moving on with other people. She said everything was really clean and non-toxic. So much so that she has a couple favorite baby mamas of Wayne’s: Nivea and Lauren London.

Reginae also talked about becoming an older sister with siblings from both of her parents later relationships. By the end of the interview, Wayne and Toya asked Reginae about her love life. Wayne, being a normal father overprotective of his daughter, was ready to leave the set. But before he left, he said he was proud of how she handles her love life. Mom agreed.
