Whew. For reasons only known to him, Donald Trump is going extra hard lately trying to convince the public that he’s healthy enough to run the country again.

In his latest attempt, Trump took to Truth Social on Friday to give Americans an update on his recent health tests and doctor’s visit. According to him, everything is going just fine. He wrote, “The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in ‘PERFECT HEALTH,’ and that | ‘ACED’ (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take.”

He didn’t stop there.

Trump continued, “P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination. Our great Country cannot be run by “STUPID” or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE! President DJT.”

More On Donald Trump’s Health

This all comes just one day after The Wall Street Journal published an interview where Trump also addressed ongoing questions about his health. During that conversation, he touched on concerns surrounding his bruised hands last year and moments where viewers thought he appeared to be nodding off during televised events.

When it came to his hands, Trump blamed aspirin use. “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” he explained. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”

As for those public sleeping episodes, Trump says people are getting it wrong.

“I’ve never been a big sleeper,” he said. What may look like him nodding off, according to Trump, is actually just a brief moment of calm. “I’ll just close. It’s very relaxing to me,” he added, noting that photographers sometimes catch him mid-blink.

Either way, Trump says he’s standing firmly by his doctors and their assessment that he’s in “perfect health.” Whether the public is fully buying it or not is… a whole different conversation.
