On Sunday (April 19), the R&B diva went live on Instagram as she was getting glammed up. During her Instagram Live, Monica was asked for some advice on how to fight. Someone straight up asked her, “Mo, how do you fight, just in case…”
Monica bursted into laughter and asked her fans back, “Why y’all ask me?!” Monica then continued to address her infamous alter-ego, “Goonica.” The “So Gone” singer said:
“I saw somebody say, ‘Why y’all call her that? We ain’t never seen her.’ And you won’t. ‘Cause you’re too young. And I don’t fight no more. I don’t condone it. The “U Should’ve Known Better” singer then went on to reference a video she recently saw. Monica seemingly addressed the viral drama with a random fan attacking Ice Spice at a Hollywood, California McDonald’s. She said:
“I saw a video the other day. Something happened to this other young lady and it’s like, number one, you don’t ever let somebody stand over you. You don’t ever let somebody’s tone change and your stance not change. You don’t ever leave your hair hanging or keep on heels. And you don’t ever, I mean ever, ever, ever let somebody walk up on you.
