Taylor Frankie Paul‘s Mother’s Day will not be without her son!
The media personality has been awarded half a day to spend with her son on the hallowed day, alongside a gradual increase in her overall parenting time since she and her former partner secured restraining orders against each other.
Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen were ordered to stay 100 feet away from each other during a hearing on April 30, 2026, and the latter was also granted temporary primary custody earlier in March.

The reality star on Wednesday, May 6, was cleared by the judge to spend time with her kids on Mother’s Day, May 10. She will be with the children from 9 AM to 8:30 PM on Sunday, bonding with her boys and daughter.
Paul’s parenting time was also bumped up a notch as she now gets 12 hours a week with her kids compared to the earlier 8 hours a week window. The court recommends three separate four-hour supervised blocks for Paul and the kids to connect.
TMZ reported that the duo is, however, scheduled to attend another hearing on June 1, where they will discuss future child custody and parent-time issues.
Since the video of the reality star accidentally hitting one of her kids with a barstool during an argument with her baby daddy hit the internet, she has seen less of her children.
The Reality Star Narrowly Escaped Domestic Violence Charges

As shared by The Blast in April, Paul admitted that she got emotional upon learning that the local Salt Lake City prosecutors decided not to press charges following the domestic violence incidents involving her and Dakota Mortensen.
The reality star was let go due to a lack of evidence and the statute of limitations, as confirmed in a statement released by the office of the Salt Lake City District.
“Any incidents of misdemeanor offenses which are alleged to have occurred more than two years ago are barred by the statute of limitations. Incidents which are alleged to have occurred within the statute of limitations have also been reviewed,” the statement confirmed.
The prosecutors emphasized that reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and the West Jordan Police Department were duly analyzed before coming to such a crucial conclusion.
Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Could Get Lucky Down The Line

The media personality suffered a huge blow to her TV career just days before her season of “The Bachelorette” was set to air. However, some insiders have claimed redemption is lurking around the corner for that season, as it may get the chance to show on television at a later date.
Since she did not get slammed with charges of domestic violence, the network in charge of the franchise may also change its mind about letting the production rot on the shelves.
As for ABC, they also never tagged the season as canceled; instead, they noted that it would be paused for the time being, which is another pointer towards a possible return. Ultimately, the decision to air the show by the network, since the court gave Paul a clean slate, may be a consolation for the million spent on production.
The 31-Year-Old Described Dakota Mortensen’s Sabotage Patterns Towards Her

Paul made some allegations against Mortensen in a witness statement she dropped in March at the Draper County Police Department. As noted by The Blast, the reality star noted that her estranged boyfriend had a notorious history of always trying to create unfavorable situations for her whenever she was on the verge of achieving something significant.
According to her in the statement, “Things like a new season [of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’] coming out or, in this case, the trailers for ‘The Bachelorette’ starting to run always seem to set him off.”
She noted that Mortensen also bombarded her with his concerns about her finding love on “The Bachelorette,” despite the fact that they were no longer together. Paul revealed that his messages included him telling her how he cannot bear to watch her fall in love with the rest of the world and give other men an intimate side of her that he used to have access to.
Taylor Frankie Paul Gets The Final Say On Return To ‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’

The reality star’s family at the production room for the show has reassured her that upon her return to continue filming, she will always have a seat with the cast. According to an insider, the production has continued to hold space for Paul and is ready to work with her at her own pace, whenever she feels it is the right time.
Paul had also earlier trashed comments about the production and cast carrying on without them, stating on Instagram that the call she got is different from what was being said.
As for her people at Disney, a chief executive at the network revealed that when the news about Paul broke, their first concern was her well-being and that of her family. The Disney chief, Rob Mills, affirmed that whenever her season airs, fans will definitely enjoy it because she did a phenomenal job as “The Bachelorette.”
Here is to wishing Taylor Frankie Paul a happy Mother’s Day in advance!
