While there have been rumblings about Real Housewives of Potomac‘s 11th season, an insider exclusively confirmed to Reality Blurb that production has officially begun.
The source specifically divulged who filmed thus far and where the taping went down.
“They officially started filming for the new season on April 7,” the source confirmed.
As for who filmed, the insider revealed Karen Huger and Ashley Darby were the two who were the first to get in front of the cameras.
“Karen and Ashley sat down at a restaurant called The Grove in Potomac,” the source dished. “And, while there, they filmed a scene for season 11.”
Reality Blurb previously confirmed who was set to appear in the next iteration of RHOP.
According to the insider at the time, the following women who were a part of last season are set to come back for RHOP‘s 11th season: Gizelle Bryant, Wendy Osefo, Tia Glover, Ashley, and Karen.
While their returns were confirmed, the insider clarified their statuses as full-time Housewives remain up in the air, as they are “all auditioning to hold a champagne flute.”
Stacey Rusch was also said to be returning as well and was branded “the most secure” in terms of who will be full-time.
“Robyn Dixon has also made the cut,” they added. “There is also a new girl in the mix.”
“Regardless of who pans out to be full-time and who becomes ‘friend of’ the Housewives,’ all of the aforementioned women will be a part of season 11.”
“As far as Monique Samuels goes, nothing has been decided thus far in terms of if she will be a part of season 11 or not,” they elaborated.
The insider also shared Keiarna Stewart and Angel Massie would not be a part of the next season of RHOP, sharing that’s “the word on the street.”
Robyn’s return will be the first time she’s appeared on the show since season eight, and as an insider shared with Reality Blurb, she is expected to be a ‘friend of’ the Housewives.
In 2024, she confirmed she was departing the franchise during an episode of her Reasonably Shady podcast.
“Yes, I will not be returning for season nine of The Real Housewives of Potomac,” Robyn shared at the time. “It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugarcoat the situation and say, ‘Ooh, I am walking away, and this is a break,’ or anything like this. This is a network decision.”
“I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever,” she added. “I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show.”
While news of her leaving the show was released prior to her addressing it, Robyn claimed she had a desire to “speak my own business, my own life, my own news, my own life, my own news, and I wanted to share it out of my own mouth when the time was appropriate.”
“And I felt like the appropriate time would be once season eight of The Real Housewives of Potomac was finished airing, which it is now finished airing; the last reunion episode just went off last night,” she noted. “And I wanted to respect the network and respect the show and wait until the season ended, which I think makes sense.”
