Summer House star Ciara Miller is following in the footsteps of Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix, as she’s joining Dancing With The Stars for season 35.
During the Get Real House event that Hulu hosted on April 22, it was confirmed that Ciara would be a part of the cast.
It was also announced that Maura Higgins from Love Island and The Traitors would also be joining the cast.
Ciara being cast on the show isn’t overly shocking, as all eyes have been on her amid the scandal of her Summer House co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirming they were in a relationship.
As fans of the show know, Ciara and West had an on-again, off-again relationship while Amanda was married to another one of their co-stars, Kyle Cooke.
On the currently airing tenth season of Summer House, issues between Amanda and Kyle have come to the forefront, with it becoming more and more obvious that the two were heading for a split.
Meanwhile, on the episodes, West has continued to pine for Ciara, although she hasn’t easily accepted his advances due to their past history together.
West and Amanda took to social media to issue a joint statement about them being in a relationship on March 31.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they revealed at the time. “It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Amanda and West explained that, as their “feelings evolved,” they kept it hush-hush because they wanted to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they elaborated. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Earlier this week, West spoke out on his Show Me Something With Sophie and West podcast to talk about his romance with Amanda.
“I have been better,” West said. “A lot has happened in a very, very short amount of time, obviously. And just trying to take it a day at a time and stay off my phone, but the internet is a very scary place to be.”
He also claimed Amanda has taken “a big brunt of all of this” and shared he would hope “if people had s*it to talk, they could deliver it to me.”
“For example, her number got leaked,” he continued. “I don’t know how that happened. And someone messaged her and called her a home-wrecking w*ore, which I found to be obviously inappropriate. Can’t talk like that to people. But it’s also not true.”
West also spoke out on the timeline of their relationship, insisting it did not overlap with other relationships.
“I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen,” he shared. “Everyone was single, like I said earlier. So then we realized things are maybe a little bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started, and there’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”
