The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley is sharing if Erika Jayne has responded after she clapped back at her in a confessional.
Dorit didn’t hold back in the Season 13 premiere of the RHOBH. The reality TV star clapped back at Erika for some claims she had made. Earlier, Erika had claimed that her weight loss was due to hormones.
In her solo confessional, Dorit snarkily asks, “Is hormones spelled O-Z-E-M-P-I-C?” Of course, Erika is denying that she is taking the popular weight loss drug. Their problem stems from something Erika had said at BravoCon 2022.
Erika was asked which “Bravolebrity” relationship she thought was headed to the doghouse next. She was pretty quick to point to Dorit and her husband PK.
Of course, Erika claimed that she was simply giving the audience what they wanted and being a “showman.” Dorit, when she clapped back, mocked Erika’s voice, saying that “delivering the line” and then flipping her as if she was feeling good about herself is, “Not a showman. That’s a b**ch.”
Naturally, her biting comments were quick to gain traction on social media. But according to Dorit, Erika has had no response to Dorit’s scathing remarks.
Dorit said that she was “surprised and excited” to see that the comment had gone viral with RHOBH fans. According to The Wrap, she said she “may not be the one to throw the first punch,” but she’s always going to fight back — albeit with “a little twinge of humor.”
She went on to confess that she was hurt by Erika’s remarks because she thinks of her as a friend. With Dorit and PK having gone through problems in their marriage over the last year, the comments clearly didn’t sit well with the swimwear developer.
“A friend doesn’t do that,” she said, adding that the retreat was the first time the two had spoken about it, and she had thought that Erika would have been more compassionate and maybe even lead with an apology.
“And so, when she didn’t, I was a little bit surprised and taken aback,” she said, adding that, at that point, months had already passed. “She had plenty of time to sit on it and feel bad.” Dorit seemed to get a little satisfaction out of the fact that her friend didn’t get the “applause” she perhaps expected from her comments.
Last week, the Kemsleys put to rest any confusion about their marriage, telling In Touch Weekly in a statement that they “remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family.” They added that they had no intention of separating, and rather they are focused on “healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”
In her new interview, Dorit once again denied any claims of a split, telling The Wrap: “We’re not separated, we’re not living separately, and we’re not divorcing.”
