In 2018, he was similarly caught with an illegal handgun inside a limo. Herbo was also arrested in 2019 for simple battery after allegedly assaulting the mother of his child, Ariana “Ari” Fletcher.
Furthermore, Herbo was hit with fraud charges back in Dec. 2020, per TMZ.
In that case, the rapper is accused of fraudulently obtaining funds via stolen credit cards for luxury trips and even “designer puppies,” The Shade Room reported at the time.
Arrest Comes Month After IG Post Where Herbo Claimed He’s “Single”
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that they have not heard back from the rapper and his team regarding a statement on the latest charges.
Last month, The Shade Room reported that Herbo shared a now-deleted Instagram Story that read, “I’m single.”
While the rapper didn’t provide any further context, the message suggests that he and his fiancée Taina Williams may have called it quits.
The two began dating in 2019, shortly after Herbo’s split from Fletcher.
In May 2021, Herbo and Taina welcomed their son, Essex William Wright. A year later, their daughter Emmy Love Wright was born.
