Amazon Prime Video has just released the eagerly awaited trailer for Panchayat season 3, heightening the anticipation among fans as the release date of May 28, 2024, draws near. This critically acclaimed series has captured hearts with its engaging storyline, endearing characters, and outstanding performances, making it one of the most beloved web series on the platform.

The newly released Panchayat trailer provides a glimpse into the upcoming season’s plot, reigniting the intrigue left by the cliffhanger ending of season 2. The trailer begins with a new secretary arriving in the district, hinting at the continuation of how season 2 fared.

However, Abhishek Tripathi, played by Jitendra Kumar, wearily declares his return to the village of Phulera despite his previous resignation. “Achha bhala resign kar chuka tha, vapas aa gaya iss gaon mein” (I resigned from this job for the good, but I came back to this village), he exclaims. 

While Abhishek balances his studies and his duties as the secretary of the Gram Panchayat, viewers will get to see his growing affection for Rinki, the daughter of Pradhan-Pati (played by Raghubir Yadav). Furthermore, the political dynamics in Phulera will intensify in this new season.

Bhushan (played by Durgesh Kumar) was previously seen attempting to bring down Pradhan and his associates. Now, the trailer suggests he will be coming at him with more intensity. In Panchayat season 3, Bhushan will attempt to dethrone Pradhan Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) with the aid of a disgruntled local politician, escalating the rivalry and adding to the comedic tension.

Interestingly, the trailer’s release has stirred additional buzz due to an early leak. Originally slated for an official release on May 17, 2024, the trailer surfaced online on May 14, causing a stir among eager fans.

Panchayat season 3 will officially premiere on May 28, 2024.
