The Real Housewives of Potomac cast is seeing a clear divide as some of the women rally around Mia Thornton amid her separation from Gordon Thornton and others keep their distance.
As Ashley Darby, 35, Charrissee Jackson-Jordan, 58, Robyn Dixon, 44, Gizelle Bryant, 53, and newbie Nneka Ihim, stepped out over the weekend with Mia, 38, the rest of the cast, including Candiace Dillard-Bassett, 36, Karen Huger, 60, and Wendy Osefo, 39, was seen having their own fun as Candiace was faced with cheating rumors regarding her husband, Chris Bassett.
On October 14, after a woman named Ayanna Williams came forward, claiming to have conceived a child with Chris, which she ultimately aborted, Candiace, who has yet to address the report, surfaced on Twitter. Ayanna, however, provided zero proof of her claims.
“I just want braids again,” Candiace tweeted.
In response, Chris posted a series of heart-eyed emojis, seemingly letting people know that all is well between them, despite Ayanna’s claims.
As Candiace remains in the headlines due to Chris’ alleged and unproven affair, her castmates are supporting Mia, who is said to be seeing someone new after leaving Gordon amid his financial troubles.
“The divide is real. Night out [with] their respective teams,” Bravo and Cocktails noted on their Instagram Story on October 16, along with two photos of the separate groups of RHOP cast members.
Days ago, as they seemingly enjoyed a night out at a restaurant, Wendy took to her Instagram page, where she shared a photo of herself, Karen, and Candiace, along with the caption, “Tight circle, NO squares.”
In the comments, Candiace agreed, writing, “And that’s on muvas!”
Meanwhile, on Gizelle’s Instagram, she posted a photo of the rest of the cast.
“In these DC streets! Had to lift up Madame Mia,” she wrote in the caption of her October 14 photo.
And in her comments, she was met with messages from Mia and Ashley — as well as Karen, who applauded the group for lifting up Mia.
“Love to see it Gizzy! Lifting team,” Karen declared.
“You as well lovely,” Mia replied.
Then, to Gizelle, she wrote, “Love you Bae.”
As for Ashley, she described the group as “the babes.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac season eight premieres on Sunday, November 5, at 8/7c on Bravo.
